Washable colouring allows you to achieve the desired shade on your hair, which will last a specified amount of time. The dyes contained in the dye are washed out with washing. This usually takes a few to a dozen or so uses of shampoo. This is a great solution for people who only want a temporary change in hair shade and after some time want to be able to return to their natural colour, without having to wait for the hair to grow back naturally (as in the case of traditional dyes). Such dyes are much gentler on the hair than permanent dyes. They are often used to deepen the natural colour or refresh it. Unfortunately, despite being very gentle, they do not cover grey strands very well.
