Henna is a 100% natural product. It has the form of powder made from the Indian plant Lawsonia bezobrona (its leaves and shoots). It allows you to dye your hair in a very non-invasive way, because it does not contain ammonia and oxidant, i.e. two basic ingredients that, when used too often, can cause damage to the strands. Henna is rich in minerals such as potassium, magnesium and calcium, as well as vitamins A, B and D and oleic and linoleic acid, which comprehensively care for the strands and scalp. Additionally, henna has a beneficial effect on the condition of the scalp, and in particular combats the problem of dandruff and has a beneficial effect on the structure of the strands and provides them with protection against harmful external factors, such as the sun.
Pure henna dyes hair orange and red, but when you add other natural ingredients, you can significantly expand its color range. However, it does not give such intense effects as chemical dye. Depending on the natural shade, the effect of henna can be lighter or stronger, which is why it is often used to enhance and emphasize the natural color of the strands or as a "conditioner" for damaged and damaged hair.
